Bengaluru, November 25: Hundreds of Bengalurians paid rich tributes to VHP Veteran Ashok Singhal in the Shraddhanjali Sabha organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishat Bengaluru unit at Kuvempu Kalakshetra KIMS Campus, Bengaluru.
Poojaneeya Shivarudra Swamiji of Beli Matha, Rajamata Chandrakantadevi, VHP Senior Functionary YK Raghavendra Rao, RSS Kshetreeya Sanghachalak V Nagaraj were present on the dais.
‘Ashok Singhal is the person who taught us to live for Dharma’ said Rajamata Chandrakanta Devi.
“Ashok Singhal was a person lead the movement on constriction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya based on inspiration from Sant Shakti” said YK Raghavaendra Rao of Bengaluru who had very close ties with Ashok Singhal.
Rajyasabha MP Justice (rtd) M Rama Jois, Prominent functionaries of RSS includes Pranth Karyavah N Thippeswamy, Sah-Prant Karyavah Prof BV Sreedhara Swamy, Pranth Pracharak Sudheera, VHP’s TAP Shenoy, BN Murthy and others were present during the occasion.
90 year old VHP veteran Ashok Singhal passed away on November 17 at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon following age old illness for a short time.
At Keshavakunja of Hubballi, RSS Pranth Karyalaya of Karnataka Uttara, Shraddhanjali Sabha paid tributes to VHP Veteran Ashok Singhal. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Mangesh Bhende addressed on the occasion. Senior VHP functionary Baburao Desai, Former Vice President of National Minority Commission Lama Chospel Zopta was present.
