February 28, 2018: RSS expresses its respectful pranams to Jagadguru Pujya
Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya, the 69th Acharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, who attained Siddhi today, Shukla Trayodashi of Hevilamba (28th February 2018).
Jagadguru Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya with his illustrious 63 years of Sanyaasa, led Kanchi Mutt for 24 years providing continuity to the adhyatmik tradition of Bharat.
He was involved in innumerable social service activities and guided his devotees to tread the path of Dharma. It is a great loss to the world and the nation has lost one of the greatest leaders of our times.
RSS extends its deepest sympathies and prays to Bhagawan to provide strength
to the society to bear the distress during this difficult time.
