Untouchability was a mistake of ancestors that needs to be mitigated. Caste reservations a social necessity. But there is no historical justification for religion based reservation. As long as there is inequality in society there will be reservations. Caste based reservation has got a historic& social background it should continue till social inequality remains:’ said Dr Manmhoan Vaidya, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh at Jaipur Literatur Festival.
