Bagalakote Karnataka Aug 15, 2015: Organised by Gram Vikas Vibhag of RSS Karnataka Uttar Unit, 2-day “Grama Vikas Varg”was inaugurated on Saturday at Bagalakote.

A total of 921 delegates from 298 places of 16 districts (Sangh Jilla) including 120 women and 801 men are participating in this Gram Vikas Varg.

The 2-day conclave for comprehensive rural development was inaugurated by veteran Organic farmer, octogenarian  Tammannappa Budni at Bagalakote Basaveshvara Mangala Karyalaya of Bagalakote.

At 7.45 am, the national flag was hoisted, participants and RSS functionaries offered salutes to the tricolour celebrating 69th Independence Day on the same occasion,

During the inaugural Dr Dinesh. Akhil Bharatiya Samyojak of Gram Vikas Project  and Prof Khageshan Pattanashetty, Pranth Sanghachalak of Karnataka Uttara were present. Pranth Pracharak Shankaraananda delivered the key note address.

On this occasion Pranth Sah-Karyavaaha Shreedhar Nadgir gave verbal tributes to the recently passed away personalities like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Veteran Poet Dr Kayyara Kinhanna Rai Rai and senior RSS Prachaarak Na. Krishnappa.

Various are sessions about entrepreneurs training session, success stories on rural development, videos of Seva activities, inspiring social projects, few personalities who are successfully heading rural development projects, special initiatives like ‘my village, my dream’ were introduced to the participants.
On Sunday, the Gram Vikas Varg to conclude in which Mangesh Bhende, RSS Akhil Bhaaratiya Vyavasthaa Pramukh will address the valedictory. RSS Kshetreeya Prachaarak Shyaam Kumar will be present.
