New Delhi September 3: Karnataka’s Journalist Amrut Joshi was one amongst 4, who received ‘Bapu Rao Lele National Patrakarita Award’ in a function held at New Delhi on last Saturday. The event was organised by reputed media institute Rashtriya Patrakarita Nyas, New Delhi.
BJP Veteran LK Advani, RSS Sah Sarakaryavah Dr Krishna Gopal conferred the award to Amrut Joshi and 3 others. Noted senior Journalist of Rajasthan Shyam Acharya awarded with ‘Bapu Rao Lele Memorial Shreshta Patrakar Award’. Nivedita Khandekar of New Delhi received ‘Asharani Bohra Memorial Shreshta Mahila Patrakar Award’ and Devendra Ravat from Uttarakhand received ‘Dada Saheb Apte Memorial best Photographer Award’.
Karnataka’s Amrut Joshi from Hubli, who works for Hosadigantha, a Kannada Daily received ‘Srikant Joshi Memorial Yuva Patrakar Award’. Joshi, a RSS Swayamsevak, known for his reports/analysis on nationalistic issues. He also has deep study on Indo-Tibetan issues, North Karnataka’s life style and socio-political scenarios.
Bapu Rao Award Committee’s Chaiman Nanda Kishore Sharma, other top functionaries Rajkumar Sharma, Deen Dayal Agarwal, CA Maheshwari, Hari Bhau Mirasdar, Baldev Bhai Sharma, MN Ghatge were present.
