Mangaluru March 01: The coastal town of Mangaluru witnessed another largest gathering today, as Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised mega Hindu Samajotsav on Sunday evening.
One of the fluent youngest Hindutva speaker on big gatherings in India, the 18year old Pujya Sadhwi Balika Saraswati addressed the mega gathering at Mengaluru. Sadhwai received warm welcome by Mangalurians, her speech inspired men in saffron at the coastal town. The slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jay touched sky when the Sadhwai about to start her speech.
VHP’s Golden Jubilee celebration Comittee National President Dr Veerendra Heggade, Pujya Pejawar Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji addressed the gathering. The event was organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad to commemorate its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade released the souvenir “Suvarna Sinchana” on the occasion. Heggade said all Swamijis in the region should unite to make the Hindu community stronger. VHP state President M B Puranik briefed on the activities of the organisation during the previous year.
The grand procession as part of the Samajotsava was flagged off by VHP leaders Ganesh Rao and Vijanath Shetty along with Odiyoor Gurudevananda Swamiji by releasing balloons in the air at the Ambedkar circle. The city was virtually saffronised by banners and flags and the procession comprised tableaux and other decorations.
