Appealing to the countrymen to participate in celebrations of “Amrit Mahotsav” (Swaraj@75), the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh urged them to refrain from indulging in petty politics over the celebrations.
As per NewsBharati Report, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that the Sangh has already announced its support to the “Amrit Mahotsava” and asked all the swayamsevaks to participate and support the programs launched by the central and state governments and also by other organizations.
“No one should do politics and concentrate on celebrating the Amrit Mahotsava”, Ambekar said snubbing all those who tried to divert the attention of the nation from the celebrations.
It may be mentioned that while the country responded very positively and enthusiastically to the appeal of the Prime Minister and the government to participate in “Tiranga March” as part of the Swaraj@75 celebrations, some political leaders and parties had passed comments targeting the RSS for its alleged non-involvement in unfurling the national tricolor at the RSS HQ and other offices.
