Veteran RSS Pracharak, Former Sahasarakaryavah, Former National Organising Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat, Sri Madan Das Devi ji (81years) passes away at 5.00 AM on Monday morning at Rashtrotthana Hospital, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru.

Madan Das Devi hails from Maharashtra, born on July 9, 1942 at Karamala Village, Solhapur, Maharashtra.
After schooling he joined for BMCC College for his higher education in 1959. He did his Post Graduation in Commerce. Later he did LLB Graduation in reputed ILS Law College with Gold Medal. After that he did his CA Course. He was closely associated with RSS during his childhood days through his brother Kushal Das Devi.
He became ABVP functionary in 1964. He became Secretary for Mumbai ABVP unit in 1966. He became Full time worker of ABVP in 1968, and deputed as Organising Secretary of Paschimanchal Kshetra (Western Zone) as announced in National Conference held at Karnavati, Gujarat.
From 1970 to 1992, for 22 years he was National Organising Secretary of ABVP. Known for his organisational skills, Madan Das Devi was too popular among young cadres in those years. ABVP reached Taluks, Almost all College Campuses of Cities, and headed expansion of ABVP units at all over the country. He was keen in developing qualitative team of Karyakartas for ABVP throughout the country.
In 1991, Madan Das Devi became Akhila Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh of RSS. In 1993, Madan Das Devi ji became Sahasarakaryavah (Joint General Secretary) of RSS. In 2009, he became Akhila Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya of RSS.
Due to his age-old reasons, he was under under rest and treatment for few years. Madan Das Devi breathed his last on July 24, 2023 at morning 5.00 AM at Rashtrotthana Hospital, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru.
