Avarsa Nov-24, 2012: The coastal village Avarsa received Bharat Parkrama Yatra lead by RSS Pracharak Sitarama Kedilaya on its 108th day. Avarsa villagers gave a warm welcome for Kedilaya while entering Yatra and also during his Gram
Sampark later in the evening.
Sitaram Kedilaya also visited few journalists, especially he went to the local office of Hosadigantha, a state level Kannada Daily. He interacted with Journalists and shared his experience of Bharat Parikrama Yatra and also shared alternative agro-economic, socio-religious concerns.
Hundreds of villagers, RSS Swayamsevaks, well wishers participated in Bharat Parikrama Yatra at Aversa, which is a coastal village near Ankola.
Launched on August 9 at Kanyakumari, BHARAT PARIKRAMA YATRA is aimed to uplift the rural Indian Life. The Yatra has a scheduled duration of 5 years, covering 15000km, reaching almost all districts of India. SITARAMA KEDILAYA, held the position of Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh last year. Hailing from Salmara village of Puttur of Karnataka, Sitaram Kedilaya has rendered his service as an RSS Pracharak since 1970.
