In order to empower tribal community through education, healthcare and economic development to make them inseparable and invaluable part of our society, Vanavasi Kalyana Karnataka (VKK) was started. Through its program called ‘Reaching the unreached’ it is in touch with the Tribals. They have distributed grocery kits to tribal families around Karnataka and here is a short summary of the seva. VKK has 13 districts in their fold with 10,500 families for the service activities. They have reached around 6,000 families of the 10,500 families already.

VKK has also reached out to many families in Kuntur Doddi, Patli, Nagawara villages of Channapatna where Soligas reside, Jenu Kuruba, Kadu Kuruba, Dongri Garasia, Soliga of Bandipura Tiger Reserve near Gopalaswamy Hills Bannerughatta village of the National Park area near Bengaluru where Hakki Pikki tribes reside.
