Bangalore March 22: VSS (Vidyarthi Shikshana Seva) Trust has launched www.vidyapatha.in a Web Portal for the purpose of providing information about Career related aspects to Students and Teachers in the year 1999.

VSS Trust has organized a function for ‘Inauguration of revised Vidyapatha Portal’. This function was held in KLE College, Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru. On 22.03.14, Saturday

This function was started with invocation song by Ms. Ahalya Pai.

Sri Naveen B. welcomed all and introduced the guests.

Dr. Smt. K. Sudha Rao, Member Secretary, Karnataka Knowledge Commission, inaugurated the revised Portal. In her inaugural speech she stressed for originality and creativity in students life. She also told that Self Confidence is a very important parameter.

The Chief Guest Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman, KLE Society, in his speech advised the students to make use of information flow for the betterment of their Career.

The second Chief Guest Sri N. Ravikumar, South India Zonal Organizing Secretary, ABVP, in his speech stressed the need for innovation in students life.

Prof. P.V. Krishna Bhatt, MLC, President, VSS Trust, in his presidential remark has suggested that students should make use of this Portal for their Career Development. At the same time he cautioned the students that the availability of the information is not just sufficient, proper judgement should be taken.

The persons who are instrumental in redesigning this Portal, Sri Manjesh P.V., Ms. Ahalya Pai & Ms. Divya have been felicitated by Sri Prabhakar Kore in the function. Sri Heerendra Shah, Trustee, VSS Trust, offered vote of thanks.

Sri H.M. Krishna anchored the programme With VandeMataram song by KLE College student the function was concluded.
