Jammu November 23: RSS Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi chaired the proceedings and addressed in a Social Harmony Meet (Samajik Sadbhavana Goshti) at Jammu on Sunday morning. Several socio-religious leaders. social activists attended the meet and openly discussed the speedy mechanisms and dimensions to achieve social harmony.
Addressing on the occasion Bhaiyyajo Joshi told, “We need to think above the caste factor and as Hindu we need to communicate and indulge in daily activities in the society. Every member of Hindu society should be equally respected. This will solve several problems. Law has its limitations, cannot eradicate the problem fully. Individually everyone should think and work for a change to achieve social harmony. To make Bharat Vishwaguru; we need to unite and strengthen Hindu society”.

मा सुरेश जी (भैया जी ) के जम्मू आगमन पर सद्भावना वैठक का आयोजन हुया ,हिन्दू समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के प्रमुखों ने वैठक में सहभागिता की, मा भैया जी ने हिन्दू समाज के सम्मुख आई समस्याओं और उनको ठीक करने वारे विषय सबके सामने रखा, वैठक में आए महानुभावों ने खुलकर अपने विचार रखें विशेष कर जिन कारणों से हिन्दू समाज कमज़ोर हो रहा हैं,मा भैया जी ने जातपात से उपर उठकर हिन्दू के नाते व्यवहार करने का सबसे आह्वान किया,उन्होंने कहा सबको सम्मान देने से कई समस्याओं का समाधान होगा,क़ानून के द्वारा सब समस्याएँ हल नहीं होगी हमें अपने सोच में बदलाव लाने की अवशयकता हैं,भारत को विश्वगुरु बनाने हेतु भारत को मज़बूत बनाना होगा इसके लिए हिन्दू समाज का संगठित होना अति आवश्यक हैं!

“ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸದಸ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾನ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನೋಡಬೇಕು; ಹಾಗಾದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಸಾಧ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ ಸರಕಾರ್ಯವಾಹ ಸುರೇಶ ಭೈಯ್ಯಾಜಿ ಜೋಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಜಮ್ಮುವಿನ ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ ಘಟಕ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸದ್ಭಾವನಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
One aspect you fail to highlight in many congregations, i have come across is that hinduism and culture and lifestyle (all hindus) adapted from various geographies has been a issue of their bringing up is often received with taunt from some groups within the gathering. May be in lighter vein, but leaves a bad taste when it is uninformed and unwanted when the organization is up to bringing the hindus of the world together. But faith in Indian nationhood or hinduism is a thing that binds all of us together which brings us to the thought of belonging to RSS family. That apart I have complaint towards the RSS functionaries behaviour vis-a-vis example of calling on central ministers. Actually it should be other way round that the ministers should come calling on RSS functionaries. Basically, why, to keep RSS and its functionaries on higher perceptive pedestal in public domanin the later should work in better image building. That apart the organization has already lent its purpose by lending some really key functionaries to the party and various other fields whose performance over time may be evaluated. Coming to the core issue of contribution of RSS in the national education policy, i think is acting on a very temporal aspects. Today there is information explosion because of the internet and many fact beyond comprehension of the organization are in the public domain (thanks to technology), everyone knows and understands facts. People understand what is truth, what is hype and what is absolute propaganda. I am sure Hindu history does not propaganda. You something about some puranas and leave, children try to get their first opportunity to know facts about puranas from the net and come to explain far more interesting things back to elders who are left astounded. Therefore, if RSS should be working on to change present educational system content I should say it is short-term and temporal. What is more important is that you should work on long term aspects. There is such a lot of wealth or people who are studying this wealth of content available in Palmyrs and old books available on net from various unversities is mind boggling and interesting. How many know how 10 A.D. Raja Bhoja of Dhar produced 80 books including books on architecture and shipbuilding and submarine and mechanical engineering. These books are available on net. People interested are downloading and reading them. How many of us know that according to chanakya arthshastra land can only be held by government and cannot be owned and can only leased by government for purpose and in case that is not being used it should be returned to government. Similarly, women as against held by popular opinion in hinduism, have right to wear and go at their will and men should respect their freedom bowing down to their woman hood. In fact in original mahabharata when dharmaraj asks vidura when can he have a sound sleep, Mahatma Vidura retorts saying that when the women of your country are safe which mean that even if a women walks undressed and bejewelled with all gold ornaments and no man dares to stray his eyes and bows and goes without uttering a word can u have a claim for a sound sleep. These can be metaphors used by MahatamaV in sense that when there is a most attractive situation for a man to err that he keeps his self-control and understands his limitations of his social good does a ruler have the right to sleep. That is also true ever for a government any day and today. That apart you cannot reinvent hinduism by neglecting few parts of it. For example, most of you organizational functionaries hold a kind of hatred for astrology. Unless you combine astrology and history which are available to you to understand the ancient india, it is difficult to establish what you want to establish as some kind of vedic interpretation of History because most vedic science are indirectly dependent on astrology. From who should be a next ruler to any thing from economics, agriculture, industry which depends on the configuration of planets, stars, constellation, etc. Ancients roman believed the same. So therefore unless you combine the body knowledge of history and astronomy and astrology you cannot get to the bottom of the content which will be convincing to put forth as knowledge. Presntly the way you are trying to interpret history is to use the same inadequate western techniques and twist the fact as the westerns did to fulfill their short term ends which the holder of maculayan history are quick to point out. That will not work for a indian mind. For example, you have to cull facts which are in some form of facts in various part of india connect them and be able to tell a compelling story. And the story telling can be brought about when you understand astrology and astronomy and connect the fact (not with mere ascendent and descendent) but with various aspects of planetary influence. For example in science the concept of ghatikas(ancient water clock) can be introduced (a ghatika was available in Indore Rajwada before it was burnt and it is very easy to make one for which books are available).
