‘RSS conducts 1.60 lakh Seva activities across nation’ says RSS SarakaryavahBhaiyyaji at Press Meet

Lucknow, 20^th October, 2014: Relief work is part of Sangh’s working methodology. Relief and rehabilitation service rendered by Sangh during the recent calamity in Jammu & Kashmir is in fact an example of unity and integrity of this nation. Sangh also works among the dalits, backward forest dwellers of our society. Swayamsevaks of RSS have rendered 1 lakh 60 thousand service projects all across the country. These facts were laid before the media by Shri.SureshBhayyaji Joshi, Sarkaryavaha of RSS, during the press meet conducted after the conclusion of the AkhilBharateeyaKendriyaKaryakarani (ABKM) in Lucknow.

He said that the issue of environment degradation was grave. Awareness programs in the society over water conservation and tree plantation will be taken up on a high priority basis. Training camps will be conducted to achieve this. While referring to the recent change of guard at the centre, he said the people of this country have displayed their sense of awareness to the whole world. People of Bharat can take wise decisions even during tough circumstances he said. He opined that the previous government was not good for the country. People wanted a change. Sangh only aimed to achieve 100% polling in the elections and called upon the electorate for the same.

Bhayyaji noted that many people with preconceived notions criticize the Sangh. But the common man in the society has not heeded to such criticisms and hence we see such growth of Sangh in the country. About 1 lakh 25 thousand youngsters took part in the initial training camps of Sangh conducted in various parts of the country during the last one year.Sangh’s work is reaching each and every village. If non-Hindus wish to join Sangh, they too are welcome.

In reply to a question, Bhayyaji said that Sangh aims to awaken the Hindus. This society has to be strong and only then the country will be strong. When asked who is a Hindu, he answered that whoever calls his/herself as a Hindu is a Hindu. There is no distinction made here due to different methods of worship he said.

Clarifying on the idea of ‘Gram Vikas’/Village upliftment he said that the villagers themselves have to plan for the same. The government machinery can support in the implementation of the ideas. Sangh’s idea of ‘Gram Vikas’ purports that the villagers are educated, villages are well-maintained, includes environment conservation and good health care too. There should be no discrimination in our villages. Along with these ideas Sangh’s vision of ‘Gram Vikas’ also conceives that each village be self-sufficient and cottage industries must thrive in the villages.

Governance has prime importance in a society. Government should work in the interests of the people. It should provide proper facilities to the people and ensure their security. But the society should itself correct any of its shortcomings and should not be dependent of the government to take action.

When asked about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Bhayyaji said that there is already a Ram Mandir at that place and even pooja takes place. The only requirement is to build a grand temple. The new government in its election manifesto had said that any hindrances for the construction of the Ram Mandir will be cast away. We should give sufficient time for the government to achieve that he concluded.

लखनऊ, 20 अक्तूबर, 2014। राहत कार्य संघ की कार्यपद्धति में ही शामिल है। जम्मू-कश्मीर में संघ द्वारा की गयी आपदा सहायता वस्तुतः एकात्मकता की मिशाल है। समाज के दलित, पिछड़े वनवासी क्षेत्र में भी संघ सेवा कार्य करता है। करीब 1 लाख 60 हजार सेवा केन्द्र स्वयंसेवकों के द्वारा चलाये जा रहे हैं। यह बात राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरकार्यवाह सुरेश जोशी (भय्या जी जोशी) ने कही, जो कि संघ के अखिल भारतीय केन्द्रीय कार्यकारी मण्डल की बैठक के बाद पत्रकारों से वार्ता कर रहे थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यावरण की समस्या गम्भीर है। समाज में जल संवर्द्धन एवं वृक्षारोपण को लेकर जागरुकता का कार्य प्राथमिकता के आधार पर लिया जायेगा। इसके लिए प्रशिक्षण शिविर भी चलाये जायेंगे। देश में हाल ही में हुए राजनीतिक परिवर्तन के सन्दर्भ में कहते समय उन्होंने कहा कि देश के नागरिकों ने अपनी जागरूकता का परिचय विश्व को करा दिया। भारत की जनता कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी उचित निर्णय कर सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछली सरकार देश के लिए हितकारी नहीं थी। लोग परिवर्तन चाहते थे। संघ ने देश हित में परिवर्तन का समर्थन 100 प्रतिशत मतदान का देश के सामने आह्वान कर किया।
उन्होंने स्वीकार किया कि अनेक लोग पूर्वाग्रह से ग्रस्त होकर संघ की आलोचना करते हैं। लेकिन समाज इसे स्वीकार नहीं करता इसलिए आज संघ का इतना विस्तार हो रहा है। इस वर्ष सवा लाख युवक प्राथमिक शिक्षा वर्ग में शामिल हुए। गांव-गांव तक संघ कार्य का विस्तार हो रहा है। हिन्दू के अलावा कोई अन्य लोग भी संघ में आते हैं, तो संघ उनका स्वागत करता है।
एक प्रश्न के उत्तर में भैय्या जी ने बताया कि संघ हिन्दुओं को जाग्रत करना चाहता है। यह समाज शक्तिशाली होना चाहिए। तभी देश शक्तिशाली होगा। हिन्दू कौन है? यह पूछने पर उन्होंने कहा कि जो अपने आपको हिन्दू कहता है वह हिन्दू है। इसमें उपासना पद्धति का भेद नहीं।
ग्रामीण विकास की कल्पना को स्पष्ट करते हुए श्री भैय्या जी ने कहा कि गांव के लोग अपनी योजना खुद बनायें। उसके क्रियान्वयन में शासन का सहयोग हो सकता है। गांव के लोग शिक्षित हांे, गांव सुन्दर हो, इसमें पर्यावरण, चिकित्सा आदि शामिल हो। भेदभाव ना हो, गांव की आवश्यकता गांव में ही पूरी हो। कुटीर उद्योग बढ़ने चाहिए। यह संघ की ग्रामीण विकास के सम्बन्ध की अवधारणा है।
समाज में शासन की विशेष भूमिका होती है। वह जनहित में कार्य करें। उनकी व्यवस्था ठीक करें, सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करे। जबकि समाज के दोष दूर करने के लिए समाज ने स्वयं पहल करनी चाहिए। सरकार पर निर्भर नहीं होना चाहिए।
श्री राम मन्दिर निर्माण के सम्बन्ध में पूछे गये प्रश्न के उत्तर में भैय्या जी ने कहा कि राम मन्दिर वहाँ है ही वहाँ नियमित पूजा भी होती है। अब उसे भव्य बनाने की आवश्यकता है। वर्तमान सरकार ने चुनावी घोषणापत्र में कहा था कि मन्दिर निर्माण की बाधाओं को दूर करेगी। इसके लिए सरकार को समय देना चाहिए।
