Bengaluru December 12: Pledged to conserve environment, thousands of college students from different colleges of Bengaluru performed Prakruti Vandana, offering religious tributes to Tulasi Plant, on the fourth day of Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair-2015 Bengaluru.
Sri Santhosh Guruji of Ayur Ashrama, Environmentalist Dr Yellappa Reddy, Samskrit Scholar Dr TS Satyavati addressed the college/school students, stressed the need of environmental protection.
Later RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Seva Pramukh Gunavant Sing Kothari, VHP Functionary Gopal addressed a conference on Seva and Social Harmony.
In the evening tribal students from Vivekananda Foundation performed a special ‘Kolaata’, a folk dance.
At night, a special dance show OJAS was held, which showcased the beauty and spirit of the rich traditional Indian dances.
