Haat Village, Chamoli district Uttarakhand July 21: RSS former Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh Sitarama Kedilaya lead ‘Bharat Parikrama Yatra’ has
successfully finished the most known ‘Chaar-Dhaam Yatra‘, is now proceeding towards Uttara Pradesh zones, will reach Philibhit on August 6, 2014. Today, the Yatra completed its 711th since its launch on August 9, 2012 from Kanyakumari.
66 year old Sitarama Kedilaya visted Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath during his Bharat Parikrama Yatra. Kedilaya also visited Hemakunda Sagar, which is popularly known as 5th Kedar (Panchakedar) due to its socio-religious significance.
Sitarama Kedilaya during his Bharat Parikrama Yatra a month long rest at Sadhana Ashrama in Dehradun and restarted his journey on March 30. At Yamunotri, Kedilaya met Swami Rambharose Das and a discuission on Socio-religious issues. Swami Rambharose Das is on a Tapasya since 44years. At Gangotri, the Mandir S amiti felicitated Kedilaya. Later, a detailed discussion was held with members of the Mandir Samiti. At Kedarnath, Chief Priest of the temple Gangadhar welcomed him. The Yatra was in Badrinath on July 3 where there was a meeting with Dharmadhikari Bhuvanendra Uniyal and head priest of Temple, Ishwaran
Nambudiri. On July 5th Kedilaya visited Hemakund Saheb and took visted historic Gurudwara and also the Lakshman Temple.
Bharat Parikrama Yatra entered Uttarakhand on February 26 from the previous state Himachal Pradesh. On January 13, 2014 the Bharat Parikrama Yatra had entered Himachal Pradesh and travelled across the villages creating awareness about conservation of water, ecology and rural Indian values in village life.
Began on August 9, 2012 from Kanyakumari of Tamilnadu, 67 year old former RSS Pracharak Sitaram Kedilaya lead ‘Bharat Parikrama Yatra’ has been aimed at the upliftment of rural life in the villages of India. The Yatra which was launched in Kanyakumari on August 9, 2012 has now covered an approximate distance of 8000 km.
