Here is the copy of the letter written by Dr Subramanian Swamy to Kapil Sibal, HRD Minister in connection with cow slaughter issue at JNU.

Dear Kapilji:
I am enclosing with this letter an invitation by some group of persons who held a meeting for the formation of the Beef & Pork Food Festival Organizing Committee. I do not know about the meeting but preparing beef by slaughter of cows is certainly against the Directive Principles of the Constitution and several Supreme Court judgments beginning with 1958 whereby slaughter of cow is strictly prohibited. I also cannot understand what the students have got to do with the formation of beef and pork organizing committee. Are the students of JNU teaching how to become cooks and migrate abroad to those countries which serve beef as part of their diet. What is the Vice-Chancellor doing about it?
As you now this activity will invite Section 295 and 295A of the IPC. A police complaint has already been filed by some students with the Police Station, with copy to the Vice-Chancellor. Kindly do the needful, and appropriately intervene in the matter.
