Bangalore Dec 2: It was a memorable and inspiring Sunday for the students of TAPAS, when they had an interaction with Magsaysay awardee Dr Harish Hande at Rahtrotthana Parishat at Bangalore on Sunday morning.

Tapas is a nation-building initiative in the field of education by Rashtrotthana Parishat. It will focus on enabling learning to the brightest among the needy sections of the society, with the broader goal of empowering them as growth drivers.

Tapas will select 30-40 most promising boys, presently studying in Class X and will offer them Free PU Education & IIT-JEE Training.

Total Care: Free Food, Free Hostel
To ensure that its students are able to dedicate all their efforts to their studies, safe and comfortable hostel accommodation and wholesome vegetarian food are offered free to students. The students’ hostel is close to the classrooms – so they do not lose much time in commuting.

Infrastructure
As a special initiative to attract the best of talent, Tapas has adequate infrastructure. The classrooms, laboratories and the library are well designed and equipped to inspire hard work and excellence. The play and recreational facilities will ensure that the young minds have healthy bodies too.

Selected students are studying in  Pre-University course at Rashtrotthana PU College, at Thanisandra, Bengaluru. Education Program will be conducted by experienced teachers from Rashtrotthana PU College and BASE, a noted coaching institute in Bangalore.
