Mangalore December 09, 2012: Ahead of much awaited February 3rd ‘VIBHAG MAHA SANGHIK’* of RSS Swayamsevaks of Mangalore Zone, RSS cadres of Mangalore city participated in an attractive Route-March, this mo
rning.
Dressed in RSS Uniform, the Sangh Ganavesh, nearly 2700 RSS Swayamsevaks participated in Path Sanchalan in Mangalore City. The Path Sanchalan was organised as a warm-up prototype for the ‘VIBHAG MAHA SANGHIK’ to be held at Gurupura near Mangalore on February 3, 2013, Sunday, in which RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat will participate. The Vibhag Maha Sanghik will be first of its kind in the history of RSS, where a gathering of 100, 000 Swayamsevaks expected from Mangalore Vibhag which comprises just 4 revenue districts, namely Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu and partly the Kasaragod.
Dr Kalladka Prabhakara Bhat, RSS Kshethreeya Sampark Pramukh, addressed the gathering of Swayamsevaks at Nehru Maidan of Mangalore. Dr P Vaman Shenoy, RSS Vibhag Sanghachalak, Damodara Nisarga, RSS Mangalore Mahanagar Sanghachalak, PS Prakash, RSS Vibhag Karyavah and many other senior RSS functionaries were present during the occasion. A total of 2645 RSS Swayamsevaks participated in Path Sanchalan, which also includes those who attended along with RSS Band troop the Sangh Ghosh. There were 3 simultaneous Path Sanchalans began from 3 places, which later converged near Hampanakatta Circle, then proceeded to Nehru Maidan, where it was concluded. The 3 start points of Path Sanchalans were Dongarakeri Canara High School premises, Shantivana Church premises of Mangaladevi, Ramakrishna Hostel premises of Bunts hostel. Citizens of Mangalore offered floral welcome for the Path Sanchalan.
