Mangalore August 22: North East students, who are studying in various colleges of Mangalore expressed their concerns and happiness over the security in the State, also applauded the works carried out by the RSS Swayamsevaks in North East exodus crisis.

In a ‘VIDARTHI MILAN’ programme held at Dhyana Mandira of Sharada Vidyala Manglaore, jointly organised by Citizens Council Mangalore and Poorvanchal Vikas Parishad Mangalore, many North-East students participated.

RSS Former Vibhag Sanghachalak and Chief of Sharada Vidyalaya Prof MB Puranik assured all safety and security for NE students at any part of Mangalore and State. Industrialist Vinay Hegde, RSS Vibhag Sanghachalak Dr P Vaman Shenoy, Former Minister Krishna Palemar, MLC Monappa Bhandary, Advocate Suvrath Kumar addressed the gathering.

A student of Assam told “We are Indians, we have all freedom like any other Indian to live at any part of Country, We have full security in Karnataka. The experience so far is peaceful”.

Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Sing also attended the Vidyarthi Milan, assured security for North Indian Students in Mangalore and Karnataka.
