New Delhi July 28: India’s one of oldest weekly ORGANISER will be headed by Mr Prafulla Pradeep Ketkar henceforth, as its new Editor-in-Chief.
Prafulla Pradeep Kumar has taken over as new Editor of Organiser, replacing Vijay Kumar, who is Managing Director of Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd, the publisher of Organiser and Panchajanya, was carrying the additional responsibility of Managing editor.
Pradeep Ketkar was working as an Assistant Professor and HoD, Political Science at BRD Arts and Commerce College for Women, Nashik, affiliated to the University of Pune. He has done his masters in Political Science from University of Pune while M Phil from JNU, New Delhi. He has worked at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), New Delhi, as a Ford Scholar and coauthored a book titled “Alternative Approaches to Security”. He has been writing on various issue of national and international importance with special reference to Globalization and National Security Concerns, Non-traditional Security Issues such as Terrorism, Naxalism, Environmental Security, Cyber Crime and Organized Crime, Indian Political Process and Human Rights. He has worked as a researcher in various projects for University of Pune, Center for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) and IPCS. He has 2 books, 29 articles, 2 entries in Encyclopedia of India and 3 research publications to his credit.
