With the successful launch of ‘Mission Mars’, this year is a real successful and victorious Vijayadashami utsav for us.  With a mission to unite the Hindu women, Rashtra Sevika Samiti was founded on the auspicious Vijayadashami day in 1936 by Vandaneeya – Lakshmibai Kelkar.

Prayer is the power of life and transforms oneself and the society around us.  In Rashtra sevika samiti, we (all the sevikas) pray to the Motherland, the all powerful Goddess, to give us the strength to work together for the prosperity of the entire world.  Strength can be effective only if it is enhanced by character, chastity, purity and selfless sacrifice.  Further we need to walk the path of Dharma using unity, ability, purity, and bravery as the instruments/qualities and thus become vibrant mothers of the promising future generations that will serve Bharath matha and take her to the glory of prosperity. This can be attained through regular shakha.

1120 sevikas in Ganvesh participated in the pathasanchalan along with Ghosh (Band set) at all the bhags, while the little children dressed as famous personalities like: Jhansi Rani,Subhash Chandra Bose, pulled the attention of the spectators.

The Banashankari bha had 2 Ghosh Ganas, while the Malleswaram Bhag had maximum no of Sevikas in Ganvesh for the Pathasanchalan.

Samiti functionaries Thanked the people who came to watch the Pathasanchalan by showering flowers on Bharath Matha along with patriotic slogans.
