Bengaluru June 21: RSS inspired Rashtrotthana Parishat organised International Yoga Day celebrations today at National Highschool Grounds, Basavanagudi in Bengaluru.
Karnataka’s Governor VR Vala inaugurated the maiden International Yoga Day Celebrations. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Mangesh Bhende delivered the key note address. Nearly 7000 participants performed different Yoga exercises. A Yoga related souvenir ‘YOGA DEEPTI’ comprising special articles and information on yoga was released in this programme. Union Minister Anant Kumar, Rashtrotthana Parishat’s president Dr SR Ramaswamy were present.
RSS Inspired Rashtrotthana Parishat had organised Yoga Day celebrations at more than 250 places across Karnataka.
