Bangalore September 22: Senior RSS Functionaries of Karntaka honored and congratulated veteran scholar recent winner of Jnanapith, Dr Chandrashekara Kambara at his residence this morning at Bangalore.
RSS National Executive Member Mai Cha Jayadevji, Kru. Narahari, former MLC and National President of Shaikshanik Maha Sangh, S R. Ramaswamy, Senior thinker and Editor of Utthana Monthly, Prof B V Shreedhara Swamy, RSS Pranth Saha Karyavah, N Dinesh Hegde, General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishar and Vadiraj, Chief of Samarasya Vedike Karnataka, visited Dr Kambara at his residence ‘Siri Sampige.’
Jayadevji along with Ramaswamy and Kru Narahari honored Dr Kambara with floral garlands. RSS functionaries had an informal talk on education system with Dr Kambara for half an hour. Dr Kambara expressed his happiness and shared his joy of achieving Jnanapith with RSS members.
Dr Chandrashekara Kambara won Jnanapith being the 8th person for Kannada Language.
