Bengaluru June 16, 2016: Rashtra Sevika Samiti’s Pramukh Sanchalika V Shantha Kumari, popularly called Shanthakka, released a book in Kannada ‘Seva Kshetrada Dheereyaru’, at Kannada Sahitya Parishat Hall Chamarajapet, Bengaluru.
The book was published by Sevika Prakashana Bengaluru, a unit of Rashtra Sevika Samiti.
Chief Editor of the book Dr SR Leela, Veteran Journalist Du Gu Lakshman, Social activist Chitra Joshi of Nagpur were present on the dais.
RSS Kshetreeya Sanghachalak V Nagaraj, other prominent functionaries attended the event.
The book comprises life and achievements of 85 select woman of Karnataka including environment activist Saalumarada Thimmakka, Kodagina Gouramma, Pandit Ramabayi and others.
