RSS Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi paid tributes to K Suryanarayan Rao

Bengaluru November 19, 2016: Hundreds of RSS Swayamsevaks paid their rich tributes to veteran RSS Pracharak K Suryanarayan Rao on Saturday evening. Swayamsevaks and RSS functionaries from Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala attended the final rites held at Chamarajapet Cremation Ground, Bengaluru.

South India’s Seniormost RSS Pracharak K Suryanarayan Rao (93years), popularly known as ‘Suruji’, passed away in Bengaluru on Friday night at 11.11pm at Sagar Apollo Hospitals. He was suffering from old-age illness since last few weeks. He was serving as RSS Pracharak since last 70 years.

RSS Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, RSS Sahsarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Bouddhik Pramukh Mukunda CR, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Mangesh Bhende, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Seva Pramukh Gunavant Sing Kothari, Rashtra Sevika Samiti’s Pramukh Sanchalika Shanthakka, RSS inspired Kutumba Prabodhan’s Akhil Bharatiya Samyojak Kajampady Subramanya Bhat, Samskrita Bharati’s National organising secretary Dinesh Kamat, Sri Shivarudra Swamiji of Beli Matha, Sri Mangalananda Swamiji of Ramakrishna Matha, Rajyasabha MP Tarun Vijay, RSS Kshetreeya Sanghachalak V Nagaraj, Kshetreeya Karyavah Ramakrishna Rao, Kshetreeya Pracharak Shyam Kumar, veteran RSS functionaries Chandrashekhar Bhandary, KS Nagaraj, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, Su Ramanna, Da Ma Ravindra, BJP National Joint Organising Secretary BL Santhosh, Union Minister Ananth Kumar, DV Sadananda Gouda, Former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, MP’s Pratap Simha, PC Mohan, Former Governor and Rtd Chief Jusctice Rama Jois and many other RSS-Sanghparivar functionaries were present for the funeral.

Tamilnadu RSS-Sanghparivar Functionaries including Kshetreeya Sanghachalak Dr Vanniarajan, Kshetreeya Karyavah Rajendran, Kshetreeya Pracharak Sthanumalayan, Tamilnadu Uttara Pranth Karyavah Sambamuthy, Tamilnadu Uttara Pranth Sah Karyavah VG Jagadeesan, Tamilnadu DakshinPranth Pracharak Senthil Kumar, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh’S Akhil Bharatiya Secretary SriGaneshan, Dr Tamilisai Soundrajan, Radhakrishna Union Minister of States for Shipping Radhakrishnan, Rajyasabha MP Ela Ganeshan, Hindu Munnani Organising Secretary Bhaktavatsalan, Hindu Munnani State President Subramainam, M Nagaraj of VHP and several others were present for the final rites and paid tributes to K Suryanarayan Rao.

Kerala’s senior Pracharak Sethu Madhavan, Kerala Pranth Karyavah Gopalankutty Master and other functionaries paid tributes to K Suryanarayan Rao.

Final Rites:

Antim Darshan began at 9.30am at RSS State headquarters Keshavakrupa. Hundreds of Swayamsevaks and wellwishers paid their tributes for the RSS Veteran. At 3pm, a condolence Meet held at premises of Keshavakrupa, in which RSS Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, Senior RSS Pracharak Su Ramanna, RSS Dakshin Kshetreeya Sanghachalak Dr Vanniarajan adrressed. They remembered the life and legacy of Suryanarayan Raom who was one of longest served RSS functionary of South India for 74 years. He was Pracharak for 70 years.

Antim yatra began at 4.30pm in which thousands Swaymsevaks and well-wishers joined in. Final rites held at Chamarajapet Cremation Grounds, Bengaluru. Swayamsevaks offered ‘Samyak Pranam’, a customary salute to the veteran RSS leader.

Kru Narahari, younger brother of K Suryanaran Rao performed the final rites.

Public Condolence Meet on Nov 26:

RSS Karnataka Unit organised a Public Condolence Meet for RSS Pracharak K Suryanarayan Rao, on November 26 at 6.30pm at Maratha Hostel, Basavanagudi Road, Bengaluru. RSS Sahsarakaryavah Suresh Sony expected to address the Public Condolence Meet.
