Bangalore: Karnataka unit of Swadeshi Jagran Manch organised a nutritious food preparation training camp in Bengaluru on February 5. The camp was an initiative to create awareness among people to use organic food products and to use traditional methods of cooking. Conducted by an Ayurveda practitioner Shri Sanjeev the camp was attended by 68 participants. The preparation of nine dishes was demonstrated at the camp.
In the beginning Shri Sanjeev
tressed the need for using unpolished rice as it contains all the nutrients. Similarly he explained the need for using ghee prepared by cow milk instead of the dairy milk, honey derived from forests instead of honey available in the market and rock salt instead of free flow iodised salt. He said consumption of bread, pizza, burger and coke is an easy way to lose health as these junk food are not suitable for India. SJM State organising secretary Shri K Jagdish Rao also spoke on the occasion.
