VSK-Karnataka organises State Level Essay Competition for Media Studnets

Bangalore Nov 26: Vishwa Samvada Kendra, Karnataka has organised a state level essay competition for any Media student of the any college in Karnataka to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Dr Pradeep Hegde  will be the convener of this media contest organised by VSK.

• The essay competition will be in Kannada and English languages.
• Students can choose either of the two languages to write the essay.
• Essay should be written with a maximum word limit of 1500.
• Handwritten essays to be sent along with study certificate signed by the Principal or Head of the Department. This is compulsory, failing which the essay will not be considered for valuation.
• Media students of any class like Degree, Post-Graduate, Diploma or Ph.D students also can write the essay.
• First prize worth Rs 10,000/-, Second prize Rs 7,500, Third Prize Rs 5000 and 20 consolation prizes will be given for selected essays.
• Last date for submission of the Essay is December-31, 2013.
• Organisers decision will be supreme and final on essay competition related aspects.
