New Delhi December 05: Blind from his birth, Pradip Kumar of Nizamabad, works as a Public Relationship Officer in an govt enterprise keeps himself busy in social works after his routine office works.
In his childhood, Pradip Kumar spent his school day evenings in Shakhas of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Though physically he was blind, Pradip could imbibe the immense values of RSS ideology through his inner vision. He became a regular activist of RSS, became the Mukhya Shiskak (Chief Instructor) of the same shakha for 3 years. Blindness was nothing a cause of concern.
Pradip completed his post graduation, did Master in Social Work (MSW). Soon after his MSW, Pradip who was still an RSS functionary locally, dicided to serve the society and became a Pracharak (Fulltime worker). He served society through the organisation’s social service wing, Seva Vibhag helping the poor, under-privileged, needy. He inspired many youth for dedicating themselves for a social cause.
Pradip served as Pracharak for 11 years and later decided to begin a personal career. He joined a government enterprise as a PRO. Pradip got married Kavita, one of his distant relative. Knowing the fact that Pradip is blind, his passion for social works, Kavita shouldered her husband in for each and everything. Boosted from support of Kavita, Pradip continued his RSS responsibility, kept himself busy in social activities.
Now, Pradip is leading a happy life with his family and RSS activities. His little daughter loves and supports his father too for all of his activities.
Recently Dr Manmohan Vaidya, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh was in Telangana for organisational tour. Pradip Kumar attended an RSS Baitak in which Dr Manmohan Vaidya participated. Dr Vaidya met Pradip, discussed many issues of social concern. Dr Vaidya wished Pradip, congratulated him for his commitment and dedication.
