Domalupenta Village Wanaparthy, Mehbubnagar District, Telangana September 14, 2016: Aiming the upliftment of rural Indian life through Gram Vikas, RSS former functionary Sitarama Kedilaya’s BHARAT PARIKRAMA YATRA entered Telangana state today, being the 23rd state to enter on its 1499th day.
- Sitrama Kedilaya was welcomed to Telangana by Vibhag Karyavah Srinivas Reddy and Vibhag Pracharak Prabhu Kumar of Palamuru Vibhag of Telangana. The Yatra Dhwaj was handed over by Krishna Mohan, who was incharge 0f Yatra in Andhra. Bharat Parikrama Yatra entered Domalupenta village of Wanaparthy of Mehbubnagar district of Telangana from Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
- Yatra to travel for next 10 days in Telangana, will enter back to Andhra on September 24.
- On September 29th, Bharat Parikrama Yatra to visit Mantralaya. On October 21st, Yatra to visit Puttaparti. On October 24th Yatra to reach Gorantla of Andhra, which borders with Karnataka.
- On October 25th Bharat Parikrama Yatra to enter Karnataka at Muddenahalli Village of Chikkaballapura district. Bharat Parikrama Yatra to travel for 14 days in different villages of Chikkaballapura and Kolara districts.
Began on August 09, 2012 from Kanyakumari, 69 year old Sitrama Kedilaya completed nearly 20,850 KM by his mega walkathon on Day-1499 visiting nearly 1965 villages of 23 different states.
Bharat Parikrama Yatra expected to conclude at Kanyakumari of Tamilnadu on Ashadha Poornima or GuruPoorinma Day of July 9, 2017.
