Bengaluru, Sept14, 2017 :Citizens of Democracy (CFD) has requested Ministry of HRD to take strict action against a grave dereliction of discipline and conduct by the NCC Unit of the St. Joseph’s Institutions, Bengaluru, wherein the said unit has participated in a #IamGauri political protest march in against the Union Government couple of days back in the city, flouting all norms of discipline and conduct of National Cadet Corps as prescribed under NCC Act, 1948 and the Rules made thereunder.
CFD has been involved in creating awareness on civic issues in the city for some time now and to their aim has been to establish a clean democracy in the country.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು : ಸೆ.12ರಂದು ನಡೆದ #IamGauri ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸೆಂಟ್.ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ NCC ತಂಡವು, ಘೋಷಣಾ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದನಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇದನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿರುವ Citizens for Democracy ಸಂಘಟನೆಯು, ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾನವಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಜಾವಡೇಕರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
NCC act 1948ರ ಅನ್ವಯ, ಯಾವುದೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು NCC ಸಮವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಗಳು, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸೆಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ NCC ತಂಡವು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕರಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು, ಘೋಷಣಾ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಘಟನೆಗಳ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಹುಬ್ಬೇರಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ Citizens for Democracy ಯು ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ದೂರಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕಚೇರಿ, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
