Bengaluru, September 6, 2025:A one-day training program titled “The Power of Gen AI Tools for Business and Entrepreneurship” was successfully conducted at Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), Banashankari, Bengaluru by the Christ (deemed to be) University’s, Department of AIML & DS and facilitated by KusuriMane, the women entrepreneurs collective. The event brought together entrepreneurs from tiny and small enterprises to explore how generative AI can transform business operations. The trainees were of wide age group ranging from 16 years old to 65 years old and mainly participated by women.

Delivering the Keynote address, Prof.Bineesha Payattati, stressed the importance of adopting technology for competitiveness and scaling the business operations. With case experiences, she encouraged women to not shy away from technology and to adopt tools like AI to unlock innovative solutions. Welcoming the participants, Smt. Chaya Prabhu, Vice-President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, mentioned that KusuriMane has been conducting several such hands-on trainings for the 2000+ women entrepreneurs.

The interactive training sessions were handled by Dr. Rekha V, who introduced Generative AI and its applications in today’s business landscape. A group of students of AI ML handled the participatory modules.
The training featured four interactive modules:Poster Generation – creating professional promotional posters within minutes.


Image & Social Media Creation – designing attractive visuals for online platforms. Video Promotion – producing short, engaging business videos.
Website Development – building simple, professional websites for wider reach. The participants actively created  real-time sample content for their businesses. From women entrepreneurs designing festival posters for their handicrafts, to garment industries showcasing AI generated models wearing GI tagged Kurthas and dresses on Instagram, the hands-on approach demonstrated AI’s accessibility and impact.

The valedictory session featured a recap of takeaways by Dr.Rekha V and inspiring remarks by Prof. Bineesha P, emphasizing technology adoption as a driver of entrepreneurial growth in India. A vote of thanks was delivered by Smt. Chaya, who mentioned that many more such programs will be organised.
