Udupi December 25, 2015: RSS Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi attended DATTA JAYANTI ceremony at HUDCO Colony of Manipal in Udupi district on Friday.
The event was organised by Keshavaraya Prabhu and his family, a local resident and senior RSS Functionary at his house with the participation of people of the same locality.
As a custom/tradition on this ceremony, Bhaiyyaji Joshi along with other few, went for a barefoot walk for ‘Bhikshatan’ (locally called Madhukari Vrutti) in the colony.
Bhaiyyaji Joshi felicitated Sudhakar Salyan, who is a banker by profession yet serves also a barber. Joshi also felicitated veteran journalist A Eshwarayya.
Addressing on the occasion, RSS Sarakaryavah Bhaiyyaji Joshi said “Noticing the good works done by people in the society, organising seva activities in several needy places, will help to bring social transformation”.

ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಕೇಶವರಾಯ ಪ್ರಭು, ಜಯಂತಿ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಎ. ಈಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ, ಸಿಂಡಿಕೇಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇಶಕರ್ತನ (ಸೆಲೂನ್) ವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸುಧಾಕರ ಸಾಲ್ಯಾನ್‌ರನ್ನು ಸುರೇಶ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಸಮ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.
ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡುವುದು, ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸುವುದು, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ತರುವುದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ಕೆಲಸ. ಇಂತಹ ಕೆಲಸ ಕೇಶವರಾಯ ಪ್ರಭು, ಜಯಂತಿ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜೋಷಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಸದೆ ಶೋಭಾ ಕರಂದ್ಲಾಜೆ, ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕ ಕೆ.ರಘುಪತಿ ಭಟ್, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಉದಯಕುಮಾರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಅಂಕಣಕಾರ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಲ್ಯ, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಡಾ|ಉದಯಶಂಕರ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
