“Are you ready to come clean on the violence in Kerala Mr. Yechury? questions RSS Akhil Bharatiya Saha Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nanda Kumar

Since the exit polls predicted the formation of a CPM led government in Kerala, the state has witnessed large scale violence against rival parties of the CPM. People including women have been attacked, houses burned, vehicles destroyed. In the Pinarai panchayat of the next Kerala Chief Minister Mr. Pinarai Vijayan alone, forty eight houses have been attacked by CPM activists till now. Our workers including women and those of the Revolutionary Marxist Party at Onjiyam are being hunted like animals with the State Police looking the other way.

CPM General Secretary Sri. Sitaram Yechury has tried to play down the extent and unilateral nature of the violence in Kerala. It is anything but. In this context, I am challenging Mr Yechury to allow an all party delegation of MPs, accompanied by the national media to visit at least the Pinarai Panchayat of Kannur and to ascertain the true nature and extent of the tragedy unfolding there. Let the Nation know the truth.  The reason I request Mr Yechury for permission for the delegation to enter Pinarai is that, as it is known by everybody in Kerala, without the party’s permission, no delegation can enter those fiefdoms of the CPM.
