August 17: RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat garlanded Vivekananda Statue in ‘VIVEK RATHAM’-a mobile van Madurai, Tamilnadu on Saturday.
‘Viveka Ratham’ is an Initiative of Tamil Nationalist Weekly ‘Vijayabharatha’ is designed to stock, display, sell spiritual books and magazines. This mobile van was flagged off by the Mayor of Chennai Corporation Sri Saidai Duraiswamy on January 12, 2013 during the 150th year celebrations of Swami Vivekananda at SKMNS PMC Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College, Perambur. The purpose is to tour all the districts and spread Swami Vivekananda’s message upto the door steps of the remotest village in Tamilnadu.
