  1. This Royal Icon of Hindu Tradition and culture has now left a blank in India. His greatness, and love of the rich culture of Hinduism is unmatched anywhere else in India. May a successor be nominated in his family to contine the rich Hindu traditions of Dasara.,which reflects the golden Age and greatness of Hinduism, May maharaja Srikanthadatta Wadiyar’s royal noble soul rest in peace . He was the laat human being to Sit in the Golden Howdah now carrying Godess Chamundeswari.

  2. He came from a great dynasty, a 21 gun salute state, only 3 in British India, I dont even have to speak about his father and grandfather. Gandhi called him a raja rishi and mysore state as ram rajya. Today we have the likes of kharge and siddramiah, what a sad day for karnataka and mysore. They took away his privy purse and harassed him with court cases till the very end. The Mysore royal lancers ho fought with distnction, in abyssinia, in the boer war and in the first world war, was disbanded by the treacherous congress and subsumed into the maratha light infantry. Today is the end of the dynasty and as a kannadiga, i feel a part of me has died as well.
