A joint secretary of the city unit of RSS was stabbed last night in Nandanwan area by two unidentified persons, police said today.
Mohan Agnihotri, who was rushed to a private nursing home, is out of danger now, they said.
Agnihotri (40) was returning home when two unidentified persons stopped his two-wheeler and attacked him with knives, injuring him in the neck and stomach. People from nearby areas came out and rushed him to a private nursing home for treatment.
The motive behind the attack could not be known, but police have registered an offence under section 307 IPC (attempt to murder).
