Roll back Communal order, Debar Congress(INC), says VHP

New Delhi. December 29, 2011. A High level delegation of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today met the chief Election Commissioner of India demanding withdrawal of order dated 22/12/2011 issued by the under secretary to the Govt. of Bharat regarding sub-quota for minority communities just before the date of declaration of election in the five prominent states of the country. VHP also demanded a ban on fighting election by the Indian National Congress (INC) in the polls to come.
In its memorandum to CEC, VHP said that the religion-based reservation is not only prohibited by Articles 15(1) and 16(2) of the constitution and violative of articles 15(4) and 16(4) of the same too but also divide the country. The VHP leaders requested the Election Commission of India to take action against the Indian National Congress, the ruling party for blatant violation of the model code of conduct for political benefits by seeking votes on the basis of religion. The VHP demanded to rollback the communal order and requested that party should be debarred from fighting the elections. VHP reminded that in its order in 1999 CEC debarred shri Bal Thakare of Shiv Sena from fighting election and even to cast vote till 2005.
The delegation comprising the Int’l Vice President shri Om Prakash Singhal, the newly elected international Secretary General Vishwa Hindu Parishad shri Champat Rai & the secretary of the organization Dr Surendra Jain elaborated the CEC that The Central Government’s decision to carve out a 4.5% sub-quota for Minorities from within the 27% reservation for OBC’s, just before the announcement of the polling dates by Election Commission five states, is a pre-poll exploitive stunt meant to unduly influence the minority community to attract their votes.

नई दिल्ली दिसम्बर 29, 2011। विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के एक उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधि मण्डल ने आज मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त से भेंट कर यूपीए सरकार द्वारा हाल ही में घोषित आरक्षण को समाप्त कर धार्मिक आधार पर वोटरों को लुभाने के लिए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस को आगामी विधान सभा के चुनावों से दूर रखने की मांग की है। विहिप के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री ओम प्रकाश सिंहल, नव नियुक्त महा-मंत्री श्री चंपत राय तथा केन्द्रीय मंत्री डा सुरेन्द्र जैन ने चुनाव आयुक्त से कहा है कि सत्तारूढ़ कांग्रेस पार्टी ने चुनाव घोषणा से ठीक पूर्व जिस प्रकार धार्मिक आधार पर वोटरों को लुभाने का अपराध किया है वह न सिर्फ़ संविधान के अनुच्छेद 15(1) व 16(2) में प्रतिबन्धित है बल्कि अनुच्छेद 15(4) व 16(4) का उल्लंघन भी है। विहिप पदाधिकारियों ने कहा कि इस आरक्षण से देश के एक और विभाजन की नींव रखी जाएगी। अत: इस सरकारी आदेश को अविलम्ब वापिस लिया जाए।
विहिप के प्रतिनिधि मण्डल ने चुनाव आयुक्त को उसके 1999 के आदेश का स्मरण भी कराया जिसके अन्तर्गत चुनाव आयोग ने शिव सेना प्रमुख श्री बाल ठाकरे को सन् 2005 तक के लिए चुनाव लडने और यहां तक कि उनको मताधिकार से भी वंचित कर दिया था।
विश्व हिन्दू परिषद ने चुनाव आयुक्त से कहा है कि यूपीए सरकार ने चुनाव घोषणा से ठीक दो दिन पूर्व ओबीसी के 27% आरक्षण में से साढे चार प्रतिशत अल्पसंख्यकों को देकर धार्मिक आधार पर वोटरों को लुभाने तथा देश के एक और विभाजन की नींव रखी है। अत: इस आदेश को न सिर्फ़ तुरन्त वापस लिया जाए बल्कि इसके कारण आदर्श आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन की दोषी सत्ताधारी कांग्रेस पार्टी को आगामी चुनावों से अयोग्य घोषित किया जाए।
