Chennai: ‘All Hindus are one and there is no caste discrimination.  All should pray our Matha that is our Bharatha Matha’ says Vishvesha Theertha Swamigal Pejawar Mutt, Udipi, who was observing Chaturmaasya Vratam at Chennai. Samskar Bharathi organised a ‘Social Harmony’ programme for Dalits at Sri Thirupura Sundari Amman Aalayam, Bangala Malai, Chromepet, Chennai.  Udipi, Pejawar Mutt Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamigal blessed the devotees and spent an hour with them. Swamiji was given a grand nadashwara reception by the local people. Swamiji causually entered 12 dalit family houses, spent some time with them, and gave a anugraha bhashan at Sundari Amman Temple, wherein nearly 400 people participated. Sri Vytha. Ra. Murthy, Organising Secretary, gave an introduction about Swamiji.  He remembered that in 1981 at Meenakashipuram when Communal Clash took place, Pejawar Swami was the first person to sit in Dharna.
