Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: World Organisation of Students & Youth, WOSY, organised its 6th International Seminar on February 18th and 19th at Himachal Pradesh. The focusing theme was ‘Role of Youth in Social Transformation’. Delegates summing upto 180 participated representing more than 33 countries. Three delegates from Afghanistan, amongst which the Spokesperson to the Minister of Youth & Culture was also present. Seven representatives of PVP from Nepal were also participated in the seminar .
The Seminar was inaugurated by the, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, (Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh) who encouraged the youth to bring about the positive transformation in the universal society and expressed his positive approach for the initiation of the new WOSY Chapter, at Shimla. Dr. Rashmi Singh Chairperson WOSY, National Organizing Secretary of ABVP Shri. Sunil Ambekarji & National Gen. Sec. of ABVP were present during the function.
