Ranchi, Jharkhand October 16: RSS former functionary Sitarama Kedilaya lead Bharat Parikrama Yatra has reached Jharkhand on Thursday October 15 on its non-stop 1164th day.
Jharkhand becomes the 19th state to which Bharat Parikrama Yatra had entered. The Yatra had entered from the border village of West Bengal to Kashidi village of Ranchi in Jharkhand.
Bharat Parikrama Yatra to travel in villages of Jharkhand till November 30, to return border villages of West Bengal on December 1 via Asansol district. On February 1, 2016, Bharat Parikrama Yatra to enter Odisha after completing entire West Bengal journey.
On October 31, 2015 Sitarama Kedilaya to meet RSS National Functionaries including RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat, Sarakaryavah Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi, Sah-sarakaryavah’s Dattatreya Hosabale, V Bhagaiah, Dr Krishna Gopal, Suresh Soni and other national office bearers. Kedilaya’s visit coincides with the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal Baitah ABKM to be held on October 30, 31 and November 01.
68 year old Sitarama Kedilaya has now completed approximately over 16,000 kilometers by his mega walkathon.Bharat Parikrama Yatra visited over 1500 villages of 19 states so far, creating awareness about conservation of water, ecology and rural Indian values in village life.
