25 Mar 2020, Bengaluru: The RSS Seva Vibhag of Bengaluru Mahanagar has started to distribute food(provision) kits to needy daily wage workers who have either lost jobs or finding it challenging to lead lives due to national lockdown due to Covid 19 Corona pandemic. This distribution drive will take place till April 14 when the lockdown is expected to get relaxed.
Today Swayamsevaks from Jayanagar, Bommanahalli, visited 35 huts near Jambusavari dinne of Bengaluru and distributed food kits to them which comprises of Rice, Dal, cooking oil, vegetables. At Bommanahalli, the Swayamsevaks have spoken to the local hotel owner who has offered to provide food for free. Some places also have seen the condition of the daily wage workers who have lost their jobs and are in a dilapidated condition. Swayamsevaks from Hebbal, Thyagarajanagar also participated in the distribution of the food kits.
Swayamsevaks from Bengaluru North have also crowd funded among themselves to procure sanitizers, masks, hand wash, soaps, to distribute at Amrutha Shishu Nivasa near Doddaganapati Temple, Sri Sai Dwarakamayee Vrudhashrama, Nandi grama, Chikkaballapura, Nele Ashakirana – RT Nagar, Nele Nammamane – Hennur, Vidyagokula Charitable trust – Singanayakana halli and many other places.
ಇಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜಯನಗರದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಜಂಬುಸವಾರಿ ದಿಣ್ಣೆಯ ಸೇವಾ ಬಸದಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಬಂಧುಗಳಿಗೆ ದಿನಸಿ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೋವಿಡ್19 ಕರೋನ ಸೋಂಕಿನ ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ, ತಮ್ಮ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಾಗದೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ 35 ಗುಡಿಸಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ದಿನಸಿ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
