About speaker: Sri M.R. Venkatesh is a Chartered Accountant and associated with Swadeshi Jagaran Manch activities. He passed Chartered Accountancy in 1992 and practicing since 1993 as a partner of GSV Associates, Chartered Accountants, Chennai. He is a passionate believer in the concept of swadeshi economics. He addresses the business concerns relating to economic policies, international trade and business strategies. He is also a commentator on International Trade and Economic Affairs. He is a regular contributor to various prestigious publications in India. He has authored several books like “A Handbook on Anti-dumping”, “Global Imbalances and the impending Dollar Crisis”, “Sense, Sensex and Sentiments” a monograph on “Inflation” as well as one on “Capital Account Convertibility”. He has also authored a detailed report on the farm sector in India in the context of ongoing Doha Round of negotiations and the aegis of WTO. He is a visiting faculty in various professional institutions, Chambers of Commerce and Universities.
