DEHRADUN: Yoga guru Ramdev on Sunday broke his nine-day-old fast even as doctors said he will be discharged from hospital in two-three days though his condition is “stable”. Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar, who met the 46-year-old yoga exponent for the third day at a Dehradun hospital, said, “Ramdev has broken his fast by taking juice. He ended the fast in the presence of various religious and spiritual leaders”.
Ramdev, who went on his hunger strike to protest against corruption and black money issues, was admitted to the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences here on Friday after his condition deteriorated at his Patanjali Yogapeeth ashram in Haridwar.

Sarsanghachalak Ma. Sri Mohan Bhagwat’s message to Pujya Baba Ramdev ji
On June 11th RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohanji Bhagwat had written a letter the following to Baba Ramdev.
The news of Pujya Baba Ramdev deteriorating health and hospitalisation has caused great concern in the whole country. People of the country are greatly beholden to Baba for his relentless campaign against corruption and black money that has awakened and inspired millions of citizens and stirred up their innate patriotism.
At a time when the country needs his guidance the most it is unimaginable that the Baba is lying in a hospital bed weakened by resolute fasting for more than a week. The cause of Dharma he has taken up needs his active guidance. Therein lies the good of the country.
Hence I prayerfully appeal to Baba Ramdev ji to call off his fast soon and rejoin his movement for national regeneration. Although coming from me I can see this appeal reflecting the strong sentiments of millions of countrymen and I hope that Baba would certainly respond positively to their sentiments and feelings.
