Haryana: RSS Sarasanghachalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat in an interactive program jointly organized by IILM University and Banyan Tree School at Haryana, interacted with students from Class 10 to Post-Graduation and answered their questions.

Addressing teachers and students, Dr Bhagwat said that his personal experience is that the new generation is more honest than the old generation, they have naturally more courage. On the subject of brain drain, calling upon the students, he said that you will get everything abroad, but your identity is from your country. You have received a lot from your country. We have got our body from the food and water of India. Keep as much as is necessary for the body for yourself and dedicate the rest to society, to the country. He said that the purpose of education is not only career-building, the real purpose of education is man-making. Education is what distinguishes man from animal. Nation-building is possible only through man-making.

Giving an example, he said that in the recent film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, there is ‘Neeb Karori Baba’. ‘Steve Jobs’ had also come to meet him. Swami Vivekananda’s guru Ramakrishna Paramhansa Ji also did not have formal schooling. In India, many such saints did not have regular education, but they became ‘leaders’ of society because their level of humanity was very high. Therefore, today along with modern education, there is also a need for education that enhances the qualities of humanity.

He said that India does not have to become a military or economic superpower of the world. India has to be re-established on the throne of Vishwaguru. India’s identity is the ‘knowledge of humanity’.
The preamble of the program was presented by IILM Chairman Anil Rai.
