Sri Ashok Singhal, Senior Sangh Parivar functionary and International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been facilitated at Eshwaramangala near Mangalore Karnataka Yesterday.
Ashok Singhal recieved DHARMASHREE award from Pejawar Seer Sri Vishweshwa Theertha Swamiji, Ramachandrapur Seer Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji and Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa. The event was organised by Dharmashree Foundation of Eshwaramangala in connection with in connection with the consecration of the world’s tallest Panchamukhi idol of Lord Anjaneya at Eshwarramangala.
Dharmashree’ award being given annually to those who have rendered meritorious services in the fields of religious, social, and other sectors. Sri Singhal’s name was selected for this years award. In previous years Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji, Rama Jois, and writer, S L Bhyrappa, had received this award.
Senior RSS officials of Karnataka including Dr. Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka, (Kshetriya Sampark Pramukh of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka), Kajampady Subramanya Bhat (State Joint Secretary) and several others were present in dais during the ceremony.
