Bengaluru April 30, 2015: ‘For a person, the Education is not a path for earning his bread, it is to make a person Vishwambhar, a person who performs and protects the values in Dharma throughout his life. This should be the purpose of education. ‘ said RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat in Channenahalli, Bengaluru on Thursday.
RSS Sarasanghachalak Mananiya Mohan Bhagwat was addressing after performing BHOOMI POOJAN ceremony for the new hostel building of Janaseva Vidyakendra of Channenahalli, Bengaluru.
‘Education should imbue nationalistic thoughts in an individual. It should make a person aware about the nation. Also, the education should be based on nationalistic concepts. Hence each person should think for performing his duty about Dharma. Nitant mein atmadarshan ki Sadhana, aur lokant me seva aur paropakar laana, vishwa ke jeevan ki dharana kar ne wala, ye saphal jeevan maana jaata hein ‘ said Bhagwat.
Adressing on the occasion, Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Matha, said ” We focus on making a building taller, also we should focus upon raising the personality of an individual, Everyone’s personality should be taller, which helps for the prosperity of the nation”.
“Dharma should not be used for political reasons. If a person joins any party or even if he changes his party, the Dharma will not change. A person may be in any country, political party, institute or organisation, his Dharma will not change” said Sri Swamiji.
YK Raghavendra Rao, Trustee of Janaseva Vishwastha Mandali, Industrialist Srinivas Gupta, Subbaram Shetty, president of Janaseva Vidyakendra were on the dias.
Senior RSS functionaries Mangesh Bhende, Mukunda CR, Kru Soorya Narayana Rao, Mai Cha Jayadev, Kru Narahari, Shyam Kumar, Dusi Ramakrishna Rao, Kajamady Subramhmanya Bhat, V Nagaraj, Sridhar Sagar, M Venkataram, Dr Vaman Shenoy, N Tippeswamy, Sudhir and many others were present.
The event was attended by several educationists and insdustrialists. Old students of the Janaseva Vidyakendra attended the event.
Janaseva Vidyakendra is an RSS inspired educational institute, founded in 1970. This residential school has students from across Karnataka. The foundation for old hostel building was laid by Prof Rajju Bhaiyya, 4th Sarasanghachalak of RSS in 1995.
