Bharat Parikrama Yatra enters Assam

Sri Rampur, Kokrajar District Assam, April 01: RSS Pracharak and Former national functionary Sitarama Kedilaya lead Bharat Parikrama Yatra has entered Assam, making the 15th state to reach during his mega walkathon on its non-stop 962th day on March 30th Monday.

Bharat Parikrama Yatra had entered Assam from Pakadi Gudi Village of Alipur Dwar district of West Bengal. As per the schedule, Bharat Parikrama Yatra will travel in North East States including Arunachal Pradesh, the most eastern state of India ill December 2015. In January 2016, the Yatra will return to West Bengal state but continue its journey in Dakshin Bang Pranth and then to reach Odisha in February 2016.

67 year old Sitarama Kedilaya has now completed this 11,300 kilometers by his mega walk.  The Yatra was started on August 09, 2012 from Kanyakumari.
