Ganguli (Gangolly), Udupi District November 06, 2012: Aimed to uplife the rural Indian life, RSS Pracharak Sitarama Kedilaya lead Bharat Parikrama Yatra today has reached Ganguly, a coastal village of Karnataka on its 89th day. Kedilaya visited Gangolly at morning hours after his walk from Hemmady village where he stayed last night.

Early morning, Kedilaya began his day after performing the Gou-Pooja at Annappa Naik, a local resident’s house. Kedilaya began his Yatra on 90thday, walked along the length oh National Highway 66. At Mullikkatte, Kedilaya received welcome from Villagers. Kedilaya visited Veereshwara Temple at Gangolly upon his arrival.

Kedilaya later visited Nivedita Shishu Mandir and Sarasawati Vidyamandir Pre-University college and interacted with the students. He had his mid-day meal at Doddahitlu Devata Surendra Kharvi’s house, a common villager.

Post lunch, RSS Veteran Pracharak Sitaram Kedilaya visited Gangolly Church,  Rev Father Alphons De Lima, Priest of Gangolly church and discussed various socio-religious issues.  Later, Kedilaya visited the houses of villagers during Gram Sampark. Kedilaya also visited the house of Muslim leader N Shabbeer Saheb and discussed various issues on Social Harmony. 

Launched on August 9 at Kanyakumari, Bharath Parikrama Yatra is aimed to uplift the rural Indian Life. The Yatra has a scheduled duration of 5 years, covering 15000km, reaching almost all districts of India. Sitaram Kedilaya, held the position of Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh last year. Hailing from Salmara village of Puttur of Karnataka, Sitaram Kedilaya has rendered his service as an RSS Pracharak since 1970.
