Bharat Parikrama Yatra at Navunda Nov 7-2012

Navunda, Udupi district November 7, 2012: Bharat Parikrama Yatra lead by RSS Pracharak reached Navunda, a coastal village of Udupi district on its 91st day.

RSS Pracharak Sitarama Kedilaya reached Navunda early morning from Gangolly, received a warm welcome by Navunda villagers. Several Muslim leaders also came and participated Bharat Parikrama Yatra, offered their supoort for a great cause.

At Maravante, Kedilaya received a warm welcome from Maharaja Swamy temple authorities, Ramachandra Hebbar and Ramadas Kharvi. Later at 11am, Kedilaya met Jumma Masjid’s Jamata President Mohiddeen Thoufeeque. Muslim leaders N Abdullah Thoufeeque, NC Khader, Abdul Latheef, Badakere Abdul Khader greeted Kedilaya on his Yatra.

Launched on August 9 at Kanyakumari, Bharath Parikrama Yatra is aimed to uplift the rural Indian Life. The Yatra has a scheduled duration of 5 years, covering 15000km, reaching almost all districts of India. Sitaram Kedilaya, held the position of Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh last year. Hailing from Salmara village of Puttur of Karnataka, Sitaram Kedilaya has rendered his service as an RSS Pracharak since 1970.

 Evening, Kedilaya participated in a discussin with villagers at Navunda Mahaganapati Mangalya Mantapa. He also planted a tree at Naunda Pre-University college premises. He visted houses of Kamala Ganiga, Nagaratna Manjappa, Hamsa Saheb and few others. Kedilaya had his luch at well known social worker Dr Raghavan Nambiar’s residence.
