Kolar, Karnataka: Second time in the same week, RSS Swayamsevaks of Kolar cleaned the premises and temple lake. This time it is historically popular 800 year old Sri Gouri Gangadhareshwara Temple in Kolar of Karnataka. On July 05, 2015 as a part of Seva Sanghik, RSS Swayamsevaks along with other social organisations including Scouts an Guides, too the initiative of cleaning this Temple lake. Historically the temple was built during Chola empire. Due to several reasons, the premises were not clean, the temple lake was also heavily polluted.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕೋಲಾರ ನಗರದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾರದ ಸೇವಾ ಸಾಂಘಿಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 800 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಚೋಳ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕಾಲದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೋಲಾರದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೌರಿಗಂಗಾಧರೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾಳು ಬಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 5, 2015 ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.ಸಂಘದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೈಡ್ಸ್ ನ (scouts and guides) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಊರ ಮಹನೀಯರು ಸೇರಿ ಸುಮಾರು 150ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
